How it all began
Someone asked me, why do you do what you do? My first response was, I love what I do. I used to help the disabled from JR high school to high school & I love the feeling of helping people out. Second, I love tech & being a videographer/photographer allows me to be part of something bigger than myself and make the stories of others come to life. There’s high-level artistry involved, and the possibilities are endless.
In 2004 I was working for Print 3, and a co-worker started a company with a family member of his; it was webcasting funerals. He introduced me to his family member that was heading this up. From that introduction, I bought my first camera and equipment, and soon afterward, the company sold to a cross-border firm, and we were out.
Then a few years later I sub-contracted myself to a real estate marketing company and learned how to do videos & photos of properties across the GTA, which honed my craft.
In 2017 I started Homes Media and concentrated on real estate.
Because video is so dynamic, we have expanded our services.
We can all shoot videos. Producing quality targeted videos for commercial use takes a higher level of expertise. We make high-quality videos targeted to the proper channels.
Our mission is to bring like-minded people closer, educate, entertain, answer questions, and tell your story through video.
I’ve always loved to see things grow. I believe the environment plays a significant role, and it can’t be forced. I’m careful about the people and projects that choose me. I come from an industry based on passion, skill and strong promotion, the entertainment industry. With all that said, the audience decides.
I met Daryl in the summer of 2017. I was developing websites at the time.
I realized I was looking at a man with an intense desire to break ground right off the bat.
Besides business, we have developed a strong friendship with regular communication over the years. In these regular sessions, we would discuss new and old ideas and how we could really make a difference. It’s time to put what we discussed into action.
Our approach to what we do is the honest one. We are indeed hired by clients like you, and while we are obligated to you, we believe your clients make the final decision. So our approach is end-user first.
